What I Have Gotten Myself Into
Does anyone have any ideas for a play I must write for English? It should include
A)Two teenagers are sent into a book via tornado/lighting/something else wacky and
B)Wind up in the Middle Ages (including fictional elements such as dragons, of course, if need be) where they
C)Encounter a maiden and her klutzy knight. I must also make it
D)Interesting (corniness optional)
Only I have to write such a story in a day tomorrow and I was hoping someone would have am idea to help me. It doesn't have to be and idea that encompasses the all the above, but, frankly, I need help >_<
Thank you!

They find that through the book's jaws is a Middle Age-esque land. They are in a field, where a klutzy knight is asleep. An obviously exhausted horse eats grass nearby. Knight and horse are on their way to rescue the maiden from the dragon. A and B offer to help.
Stuff happens.
Find dragon.
Knight battles dragon, manages to momentarily incapacitate dragon.
Knight and maiden share fluffy moment.
Dragon is un-incapacitated. Attacks.
A attempts to protect knight and maiden. B again jumps in front of A. Both are eaten once more (knight and maiden and horse also eaten is optional).
They now wind up (insert scene here).
A: You've got to stop trying to protect me, B.
END.

I could make some darn fine mushy bits if I triedthose scenes can be worked around. We also lack materials in creating a dragon (or even a horse, for that matter). Two members of my group (the kids) are in love with the idea of a tornado. They really want the "not in Kansas" line. (>P) Personally, I like the rabid book.
Thank you a ton though. At least is no longer totally lacking in plot options. Er... >_

Would a scene where the kids bump into the happy couple as their starting their Ever After scene last 7-8 minutes, you think?

Knight: And we will have a glorious manor with acres and acres of-
Person A: Er, where are you going to find the cash for that?
Person B: Yeah, those dream homes never come cheap, you know.
Maiden: Well, as a noble knight/hero/prince-in-hiding, my husband is bound to-
Knight: ...my parents are broke. Completely cleaned out. Kings often are, you know.
...silence...
Knight: Why else do you think I was kicked out? "Make something of yourself" indeed! And send some back home too, no doubt!
But that's all right because, as a royal princess from a well-to-do kingdom, my wife-
Maiden"...I'm not a princess.
Person B : B-But, all maidens destined to be rescued by knights from fire-breathing dragons are princesses! Laws of the Universe, and all.
Maiden: Oh no. The princess is planning on sacrificing herself next Friday. Larger crowds. Guess you missed the memo, huh?

I'm still at a loss of what to do though. How am I going to make it last eight minutes!?

What do people planning for their Ever After expect to have anyway. The above would be "a nice home". What else?

*ponders* Many children and grandchildren? XD;;

MAIDEN: We don’t have to have names! It’s all part of being __(what should I put in here?)__

Earlier scene:
KNIGHT and MAIDEN cheering and dancing
Person A and B staring
Person B: Hey, what’s going on?
KNIGHT: (Just notices staring kids) Hey, stop gawking at us you gawkers! Where did you come from, anyway?
Person A: We don’t know! We )_________________________( and kind of ended up here!
MAIDEN: Ah! (Turns to Knight with knowing look) It’s one of them transdimensional things again. Too bad, it happens. Well, anyway, this knight here just rescued me from a fire-breathing dragon, so we’re just off to get married now.
Person B: Just like that? Don’t you have to get to know each other first?
KNIGHT: Well, actually we don’t. The wedding itself is optional too, I think, as Saving A Maiden From Dragon automatically grants you her hand in marriage.
Person A: That’s really dumb. Do you even know her name?
KNIGHT: Er…
Person B: This “love at first sight” thing is really over-rated, you know.
MAIDEN: (glares at kids) We don’t have to have names! It’s all part of being )_____(
KNIGHT: (meekly) Um… my name is Walter.
Should I fix/improve/hide-away-in-a-sad-little-file anything?
Besides all the stuff that got translated into ?s
