Things on my Flist:

1. Sherlock. I can't actually watch it from Taiwan so I've been avoiding your joy. Out of spoiler fear (which is unwarranted; everyone cuts), and out of mad jealousy. It is so on the list of things I need to watch once I get back to the US.

2. Inception. Very... Vivian Vande Velde, thinking specifically of User Unfriendly and Heir Apparent (if that means anything to anyone, which, actually, it probably doesn't?). That means I love it, by the way. Meta-ing it out with Shyue in emails but... yeah. So much tighter than I'd expected. And obviously provoking because, oh em gee, so many views. Flist, you are lovely.

3. Aaaaaaand a meme that I'm too lazy to do. It's here if you want it. I'm going to assume it's good because half of you are doing it.

So Flist,

I'm looking for an example to use on my paper about anon memes (kind of. ish. It's also about morality again, woo-hoo.) It needs to have the positive elements of honest con-crit, and also the negative elements of, you know, wankery (or the potential for it?). It's the latter I'm focusing on but elements of the former are what I'm missing. Something anon-ish specifically because it would allow for wider range of honest crit.

My current problem is the only ones that come to mind all seem to be RP-related. Attempting to explain RP would be an unnecessary extra complication, so I was hoping one of you might know of somewhere else online where stuff is offered to anons for crit just in general. I might resort to something like fictionpress (because explaining fandom is another thing that could get sticky quickly), but maybe there is something better?

I'm aware that just by being of the internet, anonymous is kind of meshed into the equation already, but if its more explicitly stated, so much the better.

Er. I think that's it. I have an actual life update thing for whenever I. actually. get this done.

1) Housing. I. Probably will have it?

2) Dreamed about befriending a sociopathic dude who was magicked into being this zombie-thing, and we climbed a bookloft and he tried to eat my arm or something so. So clearly I had enough sleep. ...Woke up brainless.

3) Stretched too thin. This is ridiculous. I like it.

4) I have cake. I had social interaction in RL. I have to learn how to be in three places at once so that I can live with everybody next year. Charges on mass murder, what.

5) Homework. I . maybe I should. go do that.

Well, it has come to my attention that when there are no friends to comment or talk to, there is a complete lack of incentive to post. And this is the reason why I am never on.
On the upsides, I have found a much beloved author on fanfiction.net who I had thought was gone for good. Apparently, her account was closed so she had to start a new one. Also, a sore throat that I have had for a week is now nearly completely gone.
On the downsides, school has started. And an oral presentation is due tomorrow. Wah.

And can anyone tell me how to edit posts? XP

Hi, I'm new at this, so don't mind me. I have no idea how this works, so things are bound to be weird. I should probably go find my friends for help, but I won't. I'm going to try this out by myself. ... Of course all my friends should have no trouble finding me because I use the same user-name all the time.

Friends, if you have found me, would you mind telling me so, so I'm not rambling off into thin air? Also, I could probably use some help (again).

Actually, one of the main reasons this was created was so that I could communicate with my friends. Pretty weird, huh?

Well, I really have nothing to say, and some essay about Rachel Carson seems to have salting my fried brain and is currently serving it on a paper plate. With ketchup on the side. Yum!
