crystal_sun396I don't remember memes taking my Flist by storm like this in a very long time. I mean, they go around, but I don't remember seeing them crop up all at once like this.

Yes I do. Lobsang is a pretty normal guy, all considering, but I find it cute how he tries really hard to do the right thing and how he scrambles to make sense of things when there was no sense to begin with. Even after he's become Time, he can still get talked down by Susan or lectured by Lu-Tze. I'm also really fond of Jeremy and his... inability to parce reality, really. Books about how to be normal, horrible conversation skills, obsessive devotion to accuracy, and awkward awkward interactions with LeJean. It's cute. A large part of the reason I like Lobsang so much goes with how much I love his world. I really like Discworld's concepts and floaty-thought-things and what can be done with them.

Primarily Lobsang or Time. Lobsang Ludd, formerly Newgate Ludd, occasionally "lad" or "Wonder boy" to Lu-Tze. Jeremy Clockson, "The clockmaker", "mathter" to Igor.
03 → What image/color do you associate with this character?
Uh, a blue-green color, clear (like a solution - not like colorless). Glass gears, crystals with random light diffraction especially blue or red or green, outlines of things and abstract edges. Also pink yogurt in a bottle, even if that's not really his. :|

"Older" by They Might Be Giants I haven't got one.
05 → What blood-type do you think this character is?
I don't even know what the stereotype for that is and I'm not in the mood to look it up. So I looked it up. Maybe "A"?

In general: Lu-Tze. No one is better at making him WTH than his teacher.
Shipping: I want to say Unity who was sort of counterparted to Jeremy but a) he's the recessive backstory thing and b) she's dead. Susan would be interesting, but I bet there'd be complications. Relationships with Susan always have complications.

I always start forgetting why I love the characters I play once I'm actually in their skin. And I can't play them with respect if I don't love them. Rereading/re-experiencing? the canon is a good reset and it's probably about time I did that. Again.
Anyway, so the answer is yes. I do like her. I was really surprised by how much I liked her since I never really cared for what I knew about comics!Supergirl. But DCAU Kara is great. Confidence, good-humour, and will. She's badass, she's smart, she's fun, she's cute, and she's a good person. She really cares about her new family, about doing the right thing, about helping people. Except for that thing with Galatea which made me grit my teeth kind of a lot, but hey, the Teen Titans once helped decimate a whole species of robot aliens and were fine with it because, you know, robots aren't real people even though the whole point of that episode was tolerance and... I'm tangenting. Anyway, um Supergirl. She's far from perfect, but/so I like her.

Yellow. I would say something about her sunny personality and all-around bright glowy thing but... it's really just because her hair is yellow. Um. So yeah.

A. I still didn't look up the stereotypes, but I bet I mixed them up. It doesn't matter. The letter "A" comes to mind. Probably because of something clever, like "Argo" begins with "A". Oh, way to go, subconcious. That was real' clever. Based on the stereotypes, probably "O". Although. Alien. Yeah.

In General: Batgirl? I like BFF things. And they're cute.
Shipping: AS!Batgirl. Sophie, this is your fault. It is, it is, it is, except for where it's my fault or Sai's. But you totally started it. Also, when she's aged up, I do think she and Brainiac 5 are cute. They just moved awful fast in that episode, you know? Like, seriously, how carefully did you think about that? But still cute.

If she was far enough in the timeline, I would like to tell her off about the Galatea thing. Otherwise, I can't think of anything specific.

As it is, Unity keeps piping up randomly while I'm trying to grasp warped!Lobsang. I get a blue too - like Hayes's marble icon, kinda - but the book copy I have has a teal cover and glass is kinda greenish? The yogurt is the wrong anthropomorph, but. Blah.
It makes me feel better about myself? Celebration of imperfection or something like that.
