This post is full of whining :(

1. My total GPA just broke the 3.6 line. That's right, in the wrong direction. I did mention I was doing poorly this semester, didn't I? I'm more afraid of my cousin's disappointment than my own.

Why do I even bother with ambitions? It's not like they motivate me. Supremely unmotivated, me.

2. In only moderately related news, I am tired of being my current self and am ready to try pretending to be someone else. You know, again. Because it seems I've turned into that guy I never liked anyway, and I've nearly forgotten why I love the things I do which was the whole point of the weirdo I am trying out at the moment.

Hm, whining. Hopefully you'll see less of this. I'm too old to get my teenage angst on. Thank goodness it's summer.

3. I apparently need to read more 17th century poetry. Or just poetry in general, but I was just recommended the whole of the 17th century. Should keep me busy.

Oh, also this: Song on the End of the World - Czeslaw Milosz. Not related to anything in particular. I... like this guy's stuff? I don't know.

And those who expected lightning and thunder
Are disappointed.

Bawww - buck up, ladybean. Anything in the realm of +3.0 is absolutely nothing in the world to be remotely depressed about. It's been less than a week since I graduated, but already neither I nor anyone else gives a flying fuckaroo about my GPA. I swear you will be okay.

Oh yeah, what did you think? James Nesbitt is so delightfully creepy and perfect.

BTW, are you lurking on AIM?

I really enjoyed the beginning, but it got a bit too weird for me at the end. Also, I keep thinking of Claire as Sophie from Leverage which likely gave me incorrect expectations for her behavior.

I am not! And I'm currently unpacking in a different room, but I can sign in and catch you anyway.

Thank you! This really makes me feel better. Especially "flying fuckaroo."

...Also "buck up, ladybean."

What is that toaster even doing?

Pleased to be of service to your headbones~

Waddling, I think. In a fashion most unamused.

That's a good poem.

I'm painting the living room today. Shall be around on Skype, etc.

Hee, I'm happy you think so!

I'm still unpacking things. Everything is so neat while it's still in boxes. Kind of just want to... leave it be.

1. *sympathetic face*
a) as has already been said, three point whatever is nothing to sneeze at.

b) You're right of course. In GPA-lifting efforts, do not even bother with ambitions. Bother with medical and med school related media with exceedingly competent doctors while pushing yourself as much as possible towards borderline-unhealthy imitative behavior :)
i. Ambition in and of itself is supremely unhelpful to all but the most bonafide of Slytherins.

3. The seventeenth century had proto-communists called 'Diggers,' and this crazy, possibly orgy-friendly creed called 'Ranters,' and everybody* believed the End Times were upon them, and much epic poetry was written to figure out if God would smite you for drawing a picture of him.** You probably should check it out.

Also, HI ^_^ <----(different kind of smiley from point 1-b <-------(states the obvious))

* gross exaggeration.
** gross misrepresentation.

I'm still adjusting my sleep schedule to Not Awake During the Night Time. Yesterday was the first time I made the 10am-10pm stretch without a nap.

Um. I would ask the same of you, but you can be more reliably prevailed upon to actually post, so I feel like it's kind of unnecessary...

Also, I re-watched Monster's Inc two days ago, and that movie is pretty heartbreaking when you watch it through the slash-goggles.
